We are delighted that Conapto has placed its continued trust in us. Being selected for a project of this size and significance is a powerful confirmation of our expertise in data centers and our leading position in the Nordic market,” says Peter Neuberg, CEO of Coromatic.

Conapto, known for providing secure and sustainable colocation services, currently operates four data centers in the Stockholm region. Under the new agreement, Coromatic will be responsible for a comprehensive solution in design, delivery, and construction, specifically developed to meet the extensive power and cooling requirements of modern AI processes.

“We are very pleased to continue strengthening our partnership with Coromatic as we expand our capacity and capabilities to meet the growing demand for secure and sustainable digital infrastructure. Our collaboration is based on shared expertise and a long-term commitment, and we look forward to continuing to develop future-proof solutions together,” says Håkan Björklund, CEO of Conapto.

Conapto’s data center is powered by 100% fossil-free and renewable electricity, and Coromatic’s solutions further strengthen this sustainability commitment. A key part of the development is capturing and returning surplus heat to the district heating network, which contributes to energy circularity.

“In close collaboration with Conapto, we have created a state-of-the-art design with a focus on operational reliability and flexibility to handle AI applications for the latest and future generations of IT equipment, with a combination of air and liquid cooling. In addition to a strong focus on efficiency (PUE), where power goes to the IT equipment to the greatest possible extent, rather than to the cooling system, it also includes energy recovery to use waste heat from the datacenter to heat other properties,” says Thomas Wunger, Head of Datacenter Solutions at Coromatic.
