Nordnet chooses Coromatic for design and installation of all its critical facilities solutions
Coromatic, the leading provider of critical facilities solutions, announced today that it has been chosen by the online bank Nordnet to secure its operations.
Nordnet, which is moving its Nordic headquarters to a completely new office in Tullhuset, Stockholm, has contracted Coromatic to design and install all of its critical facilities solutions, such as electricity, data communications and mobile coverage in the building. The office is being refurbished to comply with Nordnet’s stringent demands for availability and design. A total of some 400 people will work at the new office.
– Our entire business is digital, which means it is vital for our operations that all important functions at the office work without interruption. To fulfil these requirements it was therefore important to collaborate with an experienced partner at an early stage of the design process for the new headquarters, says Mikael Lindblom, Purchase & Facilities Manager at Nordnet.
Nordnet enlisted the help of Coromatic already at the planning stage for the new office. Coromatic’s assignment consists of conducting a needs assessment and then working closely with both Nordnet and the building contractor to dimension and build the infrastructure for electricity, data communications and mobile coverage in the building. Coromatic is also responsible for designing and building an emergency power solution so Nordnet can continue operating as normal even during a power outage.
– Our new office, Gamla Tullhuset, is an old building that we are now refurbishing into a state-of-the art office. We have encountered a number of challenges in this work and having Coromatic, which has full responsibility for both designing and implementing these critical functions, feels very secure, says Mikael Lindblom.
Coromatic has extensive experience
Coromatic has extensive experience of helping organizations to ensure that companies can continue to run their offices without disruptions. Among other companies, Coromatic helped both Swedbank and SEB when they moved to new offices.
– We are proud that we have been entrusted by Nordnet to ensure that it can run its business without disruptions, says Thomas Wunger, Country Manager of Coromatic in Sweden. In our service society it is vital that offices are always connected if business is to run smoothly.
Nordnet will move into its new headquarters in the first quarter of 2018.
