Coromatic delivers infrastructure to Tele2’s new data center
Coromatic, the leading provider of critical facilities solutions, today announced that Tele2 selected the company as its mission-critical infrastructure supplier for its new data center. Within the contract’s framework, Coromatic will ensure power supply, backup power, and cooling for the new facility that’s being built in the Stockholm area. Tele2 puts rigorous demands on sustainability, reliability, and robustness.
After tendering concluded, Tele2 chose Coromatic as its general provider for power, emergency power, cooling, and floor installation. Coromatic’s capabilities for assuming full responsibility from design to installation are aligned with Tele2’s high standards for sustainability, ROI, and speed – and this drove the decision to partner with Coromatic.
– We’re proud that Tele2, as one of Europe’s leading telecom operators, chose Coromatic as its supplier for securing the operation of its new data center,” said Thomas Wunger, country manager, Coromatic Sweden.
The data center will be located in a new building and ready for final inspection in October 2016. Coromatic will deliver and install an energy-efficient cooling system with free cooling, power with uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and switchgear. In addition, Coromatic will deliver a backup facility to sustain operation during power outages. All systems – cooling, power, and backup – are built for continuous operation without interruption.
