Coromatic acquires SARCIR to strengthen service organization

Coromatic, the leading provider of critical facilities solutions, acquires the Gothenburg-based service company SARCIR.

With the acquisition Coromatic enhances the service organization in southwest Sweden, adding also expertise within the telecom sector where SARCIR is one of the leading installation- and service companies in the country. The company is acquired from the privately held investment company Invest SA.

— We are now strengthening Coromatic both geographically and in terms of expertise. SARCIR’s strong foot print in the telecom market is very interesting for us since it is a sector that is growing strongly within critical facilities,” comments Anders Tollsten, CEO of Coromatic Group. “Above all, it is great that we now have an even stronger service organization from Piteå in the north, to Malmö in the south.

SARCIR has been operating on the Swedish market since 1998. The company has been involved in many projects over the years both in terms of construction of mission critical infrastructure to the telecom and mobile networks, as well as providing service and maintenance. The core competences cover power, emergency power and cooling of the facilities. SARCIR’s clients include many of the leading telecom operators in Sweden.

The company currently has 35 employees with a geographic presence in a dozen locations in southern Sweden.

SARCIR will now become part of the Coromatic service organization, meaning the business will operate under the Coromatic brand.
